Hard to believe Band Camp kicks off next week! But that also means it’s time for …
REGISTRATION DAY — Monday, Aug. 11, 8 a.m.
By now you’ve hopefully finished three important tasks:
- Completed the PYLUSD Sports Pre-Participation Physical. This must be turned in to the sports clerk in Esperanza’s front office and is required before the start of Band Camp.
- Submitted the Home Campus Online Athletic Clearance, same requirement.
- Filled out the EEU Registration Google Form.
Links for all forms are below.
Monday morning you and/or your student will bring other crucial items to Registration. Those are:
- The Parent Permission/Emergency Medical Waiver.
- The EEU Medication form.
- The signature page from the back of the EEU Handbook, signed by both your student(s) and a parent or guardian.
EEU Secretary Amy King and I will be on hand to collect those, introduce ourselves and answer questions.

Next crucial dates (apart from Band Camp itself): Fitting & Finance Nights, Aug. 18-19! This is when you and/or your student will bring the performance donation and logowear forms.
Stay tuned for details about our first booster meeting, Tuesday Sept. 2. More than just an introductory gathering, we plan on making this an all-parents meet-and-greet mixer with drinks and treats!
