If 2021 Valencia Classic is your first time out at a field show, Valencia really offers a classic field tournament. After hosting this competition for 30 years, Valencia kicks off the SCSBOA (scsboa.org) Tournament season for many schools. This year, VHS is expecting up to 20 bands from all over southern California to attend the field show competition.
For 2021, there is one awards ceremony including Sweepstakes: bands are awarded 1st – 3rd in each class, both percussion and auxiliary are awarded 1st – 3rd overall, and all based on music performance, music/visual effect, visual performance, percussion and auxiliary.
Meanwhile, EEU students will be anticipating the moment the announcer says, “Esperanza High School, you may take the field.”

For 2021 Valencia Classic:
1. Students will stay in uniform after the show to watch groups until awards.
2. Students will not need a change of clothes for this show.
3. Students will need to eat before calltime as the buses return after 9pm.

Parking:
Spectator parking is available off Bradford Ave, near the stadium. Please observe all city parking regulations. Limited handicapped parking is available on campus. MAP HERE
Tickets Required:
Sold at the Main Entrance for $10.00. Children under 12 are $8.00 & under 5 are free. *Though chaperones have free admission, ONLY designated chaperones (with hand stamp) may have access to the performers seating section at visitors side.
