Alumni Jazz Concert Supports EEU Scholarship
We were honored that, this December 2022, EEU alumni donated their time and talents to contribute to our 2nd Commemorative All-Star Big Band in support of the EEU Scholarship Fund. EEU families and fans turnout showed encouraging interest for another great All-Star Concert in 2027. Check out the All-Star Big Band for yourself at EHSEU YouTube Channel.
This event began in 2017 to establish the EEU Scholarship Fund. “A retirement wish for a killer alumni band gave way to talking about starting one sooner than later,” Mr. Davis said. “Some of the great musicians that have already graduated asked, why wait for 30 years? They’re ready now!”
Every 5 years, each All-Star Big Band event has a featured webpage to showcase the Esperanza alumni musicians donating their time, as well as, to promote ticket sales and donations. Our Band Director is proud that the Scholarship Fund has allowed EEU to support the dreams of many fine musicians that graduate every June at the annual Awards Banquet.
