Essentially Ellington At Las Vegas
The nation’s largest Regional Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Festival is returning to Las Vegas, Nevada January 28-29, 2022 on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas!
Our final payment is due to Sunset Station on December 17, which is the last day of school before Winter Break. If you divided your payment for this trip, please make sure your balance is put in the Everything Box before December 17.
If you are a parent wishing to reserve a room at the Sunset Station, there is still time, but it will close on December 28, 2021.
Folsom Road Trip Tour
Although the entire festival that we were originally going to attend has been cancelled, Mr. Davis has created an alternative 1 night road trip. Complete details have not been finalized yet, but it’s likely to look a little something like this:
Thursday, April 28
Leave early in the morning and drive to Bakersfield.
Perform at Chipman Junior High in Bakersfield around 10:30 am, lunch in Bakerfield area.
Dinner in Sacramento and a concert with Rio Americano High School.
Overnight in Folsom at the same Courtyard we had previously arranged.
Friday, April 29
Concert with Folsom High School in the late morning and lunch in Folsom.
Start the journey home, dinner in the Fresno area and back to EHS in the late evening.
Students will be home in time for Prom on Saturday, April 30.
This trip will be $140 per student, this basically covers the hotel and bus. All meals will be at the students expense. Payment for this trip will be January 14th and March 18th (if you are dividing your payment).
